First Eucharist.

Register.

About Our First Eucharist Program:

At the heart of who we are as Catholics is the Eucharist. Signs, symbols, tradition, and anticipation all blend to create a true desire within our children to celebrate the mystery of transubstantiation.

At St. Joseph's, students begin preparing for First Eucharist in 1st grade or above.

Students, along with their parents, attend faith formation and preparation sessions with Catechists. Discipleship service, a retreat, participation in the Mass and special Liturgies are part of the education and preparation process.  The sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated during Advent season and the sacrament of First Eucharist is celebrated during the Easter season.

*The First year of the Sacrament of First Eucharist program meets on Thursdays from 4:15-5:30 p.m. in the Parish Center.

*The Second year of the Sacrament of First Eucharist program meets for Religious Education on Thursdays from 4:15-5:30 and for preparation to receive the sacraments, on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:30 a.m., in the Parish Center. All are required to attend Mass on Sundays.

About Our Religious Education Program:

Saint Joseph’s Religious Education programs make lasting impacts on the faith-lives of our parish children. It is a loving community of learning, spiritual growth, and opportunities for Catholic faith-in-action. Our teaching philosophy is to make learning fun, engaging and meaningful.  Your child will grow in a sense of belonging in our parish, in our Catholic faith, and in our community. Our Religious Education program offers interactive classes and opportunities from preschool through high school.  Our volunteer catechists are all talented teachers with a passion for children and their faith formation.  Come join us - everyone is welcome!
